Point Lookout is a family resort so we welcome children of all ages, however we also ask that they be appropriately supervised where necessary. We have a playground on the property, Penobscot Park and Beach across Route 1, a soccer and softball field, gymnasium, Wi Nintendo, and DVD library. Additionally, our Bowling Center offers a eight lane 10-pin bowling, a full video game arcade, foosball, air hockey, billiards, and a large screen TV. The Fitness Center also offers some additional activities such as tennis, racquetball, squash, and virtual golf available to older and/or supervised children. There are many area attractions for children and families to enjoy as well including hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, swimming, rafting, and more. Contact our front desk if you have any questions or would like us to make activity arrangements for you during your stay.

For guests joining us during the summer time for week-long stays, Tanglewood 4H Camp located only 5 minutes away offers day and residential camp programs open to the public.

Babysitting: Point Lookout does not offer childcare services on the property, however guests are welcome to make their own arrangements with external sitters. Just ask and we can provide a list of area sitters with phone numbers. The Camden and Belfast area YMCA’s also offer daycare and youth programs for children.
