Point Lookout Resort is one of Maine’s most critically acclaimed wedding venues. Discover an exceptional destination located amid 387 acres of pristine woodland with a mountain top reception venue that features unprecedented views of Penobscot Bay.
The Summit facility is our premiere location boasting a mahogany floored foyer, great room and lounges with fieldstone fireplaces, museum quality artwork and an all glass rotunda reception room with sweeping views of Maine’s Mid-Coast archipelago.
For larger events, Hedges Hall can seat up to 300 guests. Hedges Hall’s 6,000 square foot ballroom is ensconced by an all glass wrap around veranda that overlooks the bay and islands and features huge fieldstone fireplaces and a mahogany foyer with 2 hand carved antique bars. The attached 10,000 square foot open air Pavilion surrounded by manicured lawns offers additional possibilities for events up to 500.
We understand that your vision of a perfect wedding is unique. Our personalized service and stunning settings make Point Lookout ideal for both intimate gatherings and grand events. Over the months leading to your wedding, we will work together to coordinate every aspect of the wedding weekend, from choreographing the rehearsal, ceremony, reception and send-off brunches to providing valuable suggestions for officiates, florists, photographers and musicians.
One of the most notable features of the resort is our guest cabin accommodations. There are 106 well-appointed white pine guest cabins nestled in the woods with charming rustic décor, airy screened porches, cozy gas fireplaces, leather appointed furniture, LL Bean Linens & towels, kitchen facilities and spacious living areas. Your guests can enjoy the privacy of an individual cottage while sharing the community of fellow guests in cabins nearby.
